A Little About Us

The Importance of You is a new non-profit that recognizes the IMPORTANCE and stigma of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), mental health issues, and the missing children epidemic. We were dismayed at the lack of assistance that our family received when our loved one went missing.  Jholie Moussa was 16 when she disappeared on a Friday, January 12, 2018. It was this traumatic and horrifying event that prompted us to start this organization.  The Importance of You wants to provide a safe space where people can ask questions or discuss the moments where they feel; they are struggling, without fear of judgment. We want you to know that you are IMPORTANT to us and you matter more than you know.
